Identity crimes have garnered so much attention in Arizona over the past few years. These statutes are found in ARS 13-2008, 13-2009 and 13-2010.  If you are charged with any of the Taking Identity of Another Person charges in Title 13 of the Arizona Criminal Code call The Law Offices of Randall J. Craig right away.  Here is what  you need to know about these types of crimes.  You can be charged under any one of these statutes if you take the identity of another person OR company.  The victim does not even need to be a person.  I am also seeing a rise in a different kind of scenario.  For instance, an employer will accept identification from a new employee knowing the identification is false.  Under this type of case, the employer can be charged with knowingly accepting identity of another person.
