If you have been served with an Order of Protection do not disregard the order even if the person serving you has a change of heart. For instance, in many domestic violence and or divorce cases one party will serve the other with an Order of Protection. After a cooling off period the person taking out the Order of Protection then invites you over and resumes contact. Despite the invite, the person who is served is in violation of the Order if any contact is made. Under ARS 13-2810, a person commits interfering with judicial proceedings if such person knowingly (2) disobeys or resists the lawful order of a court.
